This Privacy Policy describes how Sunil Sagare ("we") collects, uses, and handles your information when you use our Class Manager mobile application (the "App").
This App is designed for teachers and educational institutions to manage student and class information efficiently. We prioritize your privacy and the security of the data you entrust to us. All data you enter into this App is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers or any third party, except when you explicitly choose to share or export it.
1. Information We Collect
The App allows you to input and manage the following types of information, which are stored locally on your device's database:
School Information: School name, UDISE code, address, contact information, and school logo.
Class Information: Class name, grade, and academic year.
Student Personal Information:
Full name, roll number, general register number, and photo.
Date of birth, sex, religion, caste, sub-caste, and minority status.
Contact information (father's and mother's contact numbers, email address).
Identifiers such as Aadhar Number and Student ID (e.g., SARAL ID).
Personal details like birthplace, address, nationality, mother tongue, and blood group.
Parental information such as father's name, mother's name, and their professions.
Student Attendance Data: Daily and monthly records of student attendance (Present/Absent) for different periods (e.g., Morning, Afternoon).
Student Academic & Behavioral Data (when a student is marked as inactive/deleted):
Academic progress, character/behavior, reason for leaving, and date of leaving.
Student Evaluation Data: Marks and grades for various formative and summative assessments (CCE reports).
2. How We Use Your Information
The information you provide is used solely for the functionality of the App on your device. This includes:
Displaying student lists and detailed student profiles.
Taking and managing daily student attendance.
Generating monthly and annual attendance reports.
Creating and viewing CCE (Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation) reports.
Allowing you to manage class, student, and school details.
Enabling you to export data for your own records.
3. Data Storage and Security
All data you enter into the Class Manager App is stored in a secure, local database on your mobile device. We do not have access to this data. The security and backup of this data are your responsibility.
The App provides features to back up and restore your database. For your security, we strongly recommend using the encrypted backup option, which requires a password to protect your data file. The unencrypted backup option is provided for convenience but carries significant security risks if the backup file is lost or shared. We are not responsible for any data loss or exposure that occurs from the management of these backup files.
4. Data Sharing and Exporting
You have full control over sharing data from the App. Data is only shared when you initiate it through features like:
Attendance Summary Sharing: Sending a student's monthly attendance summary via WhatsApp or other messaging apps. The content of the message is prepared on your device for you to send.
Data Export: Exporting student lists, monthly attendance reports, or CCE reports as JSON, Excel (XLSX), or PDF files. These files are saved to your device's storage, and you are responsible for their security thereafter.
5. Permissions
The Class Manager App requests the following permissions to enable its features:
Camera (
android.permission.CAMERA): This permission is required to allow you to take photos for student profiles and school logos. We do not access your camera at any other time.Storage (

android.permission.INTERNET): This permission is used to display advertisements via Google AdMob.
6. Third-Party Services (Advertising)
The App uses Google AdMob, a third-party advertising service, to display advertisements. Google may use cookies or other identifiers to collect information to serve personalized ads.

7. Children's Privacy
This App is intended for use by teachers and school administrators. While the App processes information about students, including children under the age of 13, this data is collected from the teacher (the App user) and stored locally on their device. We do not knowingly collect, store, or transmit any personal information from children directly. The responsibility for obtaining parental consent and managing this sensitive data lies with the user of the App (the teacher or institution) in accordance with applicable laws like the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
